Carrillo Conrods
Carrillo Conrods are the racers choice in rods. Machined from 4340 chrome moly forgings, shot peened and balanced. These super rods are fitted with special SPS rod bolts made from an exclusive Multiphase material for a totally bullet proof part. Carrillo rods are made for motorcycle and automotive applications.
When preparing a high performance engine, one of the most important areas to consider is the connecting rod. Rods are one of the most stressed parts in an engine because they are required to transfer combustion energy to the crankshaft and ultimately the rear wheel. Carrillo uses a proprietary alloy of chromium, nickel, vanadium, molybdenum that is used to forge the rod blank. The rods are heat-treated, magnaflux tested and machined to final size. The final step is to balance and shot peen the rods for excellent strength and reliability. Call for availability.
